Ok, there's a little bit to learn here but it's not rocket science. There are a couple of routes you can take toward putting Corbeau Seats into your Jeep CJ or Jeep YJ. Some are as easy as unbolting the old seat and replacing it with a brand new direct-fit seat. Others involve using an adapter or bracket. The good news is that all of the other great Corbeau seats can be mounted into your Jeep CJ or Jeep YJ. There are two ways to go about this. One method uses an adapter (different from the Baja adapter described above) to mount your new Corbeau seat to your original bracket (retaining the fold-and-tumble feature of the original bracket.) Optionally, a complete replacement bracket is also available(see the next section) but this only means that you unbolt the entire original seat and bracket and completely replace it with a brand new seat and brand new bracket.
