Those guys at Planted Technologies think of everything! Realizing the importance of properly selected and graded hardware in the installation of a racing seat into your vehicle, they offer these time- and money-saving kits to give you exactly what you need to do the job without multiple trips to the hardware store, buying more than you need. Check this out:

Planted Seat Mounting Hardware Kit: This kit contains virtually everything you need to install either a sidemount or bottom-mount seat to slider and slider to Planted Seat Bracket, or to install either directly to the Planted bracket. Note that mounting a seat directly to a Planted Seat Bracket without sliders generally requires some drilling. Note also that mounting a sidemount seat to sidemount brackets, then to sliders, then to a seat bracket will also require the purchase of a sidemount hardware kit (see below.) This kit includes the following:

  • 8 ea. Button Head Cap Screws in 8mm (1.25 thread pitch & 20mm in length)
  • 8 ea. Washers
  • 8 ea. Nyloc Nuts

Planted Sidemount Hardware Kit: Just need the components to mount your sidemount racing seat to your new Planted Sidemount Seat Brackets? This is the perfect kit! Contains the following

  • 4 ea. Button Head Cap Screws in 8mm (1.25 thread pitch & 25mm in length)
  • 4 Fender Washers

Planted Steel Reinforcement Plate: Need to mount that anti-submarine belt from your new harness set in the floor of your car? Don't even THINK about doing it without one of these reinforcement plates. The floor material is too thin to trust, and in that crash that actually requires those fancy harnesses, they'll do you little good when the bolt you put through the thin sheet metal of the floor pulls out. Do it right or don't do it at all--use a reinforcement plate!"
