Corbeau FX1
The new FX1 is the latest offering in affordable racing seats. The FX1 is a masterpiece in fiberglass composite shell design. Standard features include: fiberglass shell with a black gel coat, removable cushion inserts, full body support, 5-point harness capability and leatherette high wear patches. The FX1 will fit up to a 36-38" waist. The wide version is 1" wider and will fit up to a 44" waist.
The FX1 is a true racing seat. In addition to bottom-mount holes (for mounting in a street car using Corbeau Custom Seat Bracket), this seat also features holes for a side-mount bracket. The rear of the composite shell also has mounting holes for attaching to a roll cage as is required in SCCA and other forms of competition.

Consider the narrower FX1 Pro if you are putting these in an especially tight driver compartment
We always recommend checking your vehicle's available space when purchasing a Corbeau seat. If you are considering the FX1 Wide, it is imperative that you measure your vehicle first. This is a big seat. The shoulder width is 24.5 inches and the base width is 24.5 inches.

Best Bang For The Buck Seats, September 15, 2016I was researching these seats for several months before I finally pulled the trigger on them. They are AWESOME!! I am 6' 3", 220lbs and they fit excellently. I had them installed with the side brackets so that allowed me to tilt them to the rear slightly.
On a side note, you need to ensure that you measure your vehicles interior width with the shoulder width of the widest part of the seat. My 2015 Charger SRT-392 had just enough room for me to mount them with enough clearance on the car's B-pillar. I really wanted to order the LRG version of these seats but I'm pretty sure they would not have cleared them.

I agonized over the purchase these seats as I shopped entirely online without sitting in any of the seats I was considering. I am a solid 36 inch waist and these seats fit perfectly. Love the seats, great on the track. Wish there was a choice of pads fir street use. Sets tall, need to take out bottom pad for helmet to clear. Need more lumbar support. Again small addition pads would be nice.

I bought 6 seats from Racing Seats USA for a sit-down race/poker run boat. I order 2 different sizes to test them out for the final order to get the right mix. At 6'1" 210 the the FX1s were great seats and exactly what I was looking for. The price was hard to beat on all of the FX1 sizew and I had a smooth transaction on the 2 orders with great customer service and communication. I will be coming back if I need more in the future.

This is a great seat. We use it in a Pontiac GTO for endurance racing, so it has to be comfortable for long periods of time. It also has to fit different drivers. Our drivers range in size from 5'7", 160 lbs to 6'3", 220lbs, and everyone appreciates the seat. Been a Corbeau fan for a while, outfitted 4 race cars with their seats and brackets.
