14 February 2013: As you see below, this originally started as an effort to encourage our customers to quickly build up a baseline of reviews when we added our new review system last year. Plan was to donate $2 per review, but giving feels so good we donated $5 per review. How much will we give? How many reviews can you write? Do a kind thing for us and we will keep giving. Thanks!
In an effort to support our nations injured and recovering service members, we are supporting the Samaritans Purse Heal Our Patriots project. For every qualifying product review that is generated during a 60-day period starting September 1, 2012, we will make a donation of $2 to help bring healing to these patriots and their families who have given so much to ensure our freedom.
Q: Why are you doing this? A: Installing a new review system and needing to generate reviews was the impetus for the decision. We wanted to find a way to reward our customers for their time and thought this would be a win-win situation. According to the Department of Defense, over 48,000 U.S. service members have been wounded or injured as a result of combat actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere in the global war on terror since the 9/11 attacks. For these patriots, the road to recovery is long. Military couples in particular encounter intense challenges along the way. Read more about the methods and goals of this excellent program at the Operation Heal Our Patriots website or view the embedded video below.
Q: What is a qualifying review? A: We are accepting reviews by any of our customers on any of the products they have purchased on Racing-Seats-USA. To that end, we have contacted each of these customers via email asking for their support in this effort. Positive and negative feedback is accepted!
Q: Is there a limit to the number of reviews or the amount you will donate? A: We will accept one review per item per customer. If a customer has purchased 10 different items and chooses to review all of them, we will make a donation for each item reviewed.
Q: How hard is it to do a review? A: Too easyno review should take more than 60 seconds at most. The customer enters their name (necessary so that we can validate them as a customer), suggests a title (Corbeau Seats for my SUV), selects a star rating (1-5 stars) and makes a comment (Look, fit, and feel great!). Thats it!
